Obelisc R HPLC phase from SIELC Technologies can be used for common reversed phase applications. Due to ionic groups, additional retention and adjustment options are found compared to traditional RP phases. Typical mobile phases use acetonitrile, water and the MS compatible buffers ammonium formate (pH 3) and ammonium acetate (pH 5), for low UV detection (<220 nm) phosphate buffer is recommended.
